Sales Manager – Industrial Automation

Job Summary:
We seek a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and expand i-GESS’s market share in industrial automation. You’ll develop strategic sales plans, mentor a team of inside/field sales engineers, and build long-term client partnerships—ensuring revenue growth and alignment with our technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Leadership:
Define and execute annual sales plans to meet aggressive revenue targets for automation solutions (e.g., control systems, smart factories, motor drives).
Identify high-potential markets (e.g., food & beverage, oil & gas, utilities) and tailor strategies to penetrate them.
Lead, motivate, and train a team of inside/field sales engineers, fostering a performance-driven culture.
2. Client & Partner Management:
Cultivate relationships with key accounts (end-users, EPCs, distributors) and negotiate high-value contracts.
Collaborate with technical teams to design customer-centric automation solutions and oversee proposal development.
Represent i-GESS at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
3. Operational Excellence:
Monitor sales KPIs (conversion rates, pipeline health, profitability) using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Analyze market trends (e.g., Industry 4.0 adoption) and competitor activity to refine pricing/positioning.
Work with marketing to develop campaigns, case studies, and collateral that highlight technical differentiators.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial) or MBA with technical sales experience.
Experience:
5+ years in B2B sales, with at least 3 years experiance in (industrial automation, control systems, or related fields).
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding multi-million EGP annual targets.
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of automation products (PLCs, HMIs, robotics, IIoT) and their applications.
Ability to engage engineers and C-level executives on technical and commercial discussions.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a technically savvy Inside Sales Engineer to drive sales of our industrial automation products and services. You’ll act as the bridge between customers and our engineering team, leveraging your technical expertise to identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and close deals—all from our office (no field travel required).
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales & Support: Guide clients on i-GESS’s industrial automation solutions (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, drives, IoT systems), ensuring alignment with their operational needs.
Lead Management: Generate and qualify leads via inbound inquiries, outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach, focusing on manufacturing, oil & gas, and utilities sectors.
Proposal Development: Prepare technical quotations, proposals, and presentations in collaboration with engineers.
Customer Success: Build long-term relationships with clients, addressing technical queries and ensuring satisfaction post-sale.
CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and provide weekly sales pipeline updates.
Market Research: Monitor trends in industrial automation (Industry 4.0, IIoT) and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
2+ years in technical sales, inside sales, or application engineering (industrial automation preferred).
Fresh graduates with automation project experience (internships/labs) will be considered.
Technical Must-Haves:
Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA, VFDs, or robotics.
Ability to read technical drawings/schematics.
Soft Skills: Strong phone presence, persuasive communication, and problem-solving agility.
Tools: CRM software, Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams.
Language: Fluent English and Arabic.
